I have to confess that I have never really bothered to do much with my brows apart from get them waxed, I tried brow pencils but they never seem to look natural enough for liking, no one likes the drawn on look and my brows are already fairly strong. When Lily Lolo launched these new Eyebrow duos (£7.99) it wasn't long however until I jumped on the band wagon and bought one. These kit's come in three colours, I have the colour medium and initially when I opened it I thought the brown was far too warm, however after months of use I will admit I was wrong, when applied to the brows it looks incredibly natural and blends in well. I have fairly dark brows anyway so I was looking for something just to add a little more definition rather than significantly filling them in and this kit is perfect for that. The brow powder looks very natural and the wax fixes them in place and is especially good at taming any stubborn hairs that like to go their own way. You get a nice sized mirror for application on the go, I apply the powder with an angled brush, the one I have is from Ecotools and the was I apply with my finger. The powder is talc free but the wax isn't suitable for vegans as it has beeswax. I have been a long term Lily Lolo fan and this kit has been a great addition to my make up routine. Here is me wearing the duo:
The effect is subtle but definitely more polished, if you are looking for a natural solution for your brows I would recommend this product it is very well priced when you look at similar products on the market such as Jane Iredale this is definitely the more budget friendly option.

I defnitely want to try this out when I need a new eyebrow powder - which is gonna be way into the future since I've just bought the SN brow powder! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never ordered from Silk naturals but they always sound good, I think this will last me months and months as you only need a small amount Xx
DeleteSo pretty Ana! I will have to look into this powder duo. I have a loose powder from Alima that I have been loving lately (it's a matte eye shadow), but if I can find a good match(from LilyLolo) for my brows I will give this one a try. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Lilly, they have a light, medium or dark version they seem to be not too warm not too ashy from what I can tell. Alima have some great colours Xx
DeleteI think Lily Lolo products are such good quality especially for the price. Lovely photo x
ReplyDeleteYes I agree they are very affordable, thank you! :) Xx
DeleteLove your brows! I wish I could get mine to grow...:-(
ReplyDeleteI swear it's all the facial oils I use that make mine grow but I bet it is frustrating if you don't have the brows you want, you are stunning though just as you are :) Xx
DeleteGreat post! I love how subtle it looks - I often find my brows can look too intense when I use products. It is hard to tell by the picture - is the duo a powder or more of a cream?

Thanks Courtney it's a powder one side and a wax the other, works well for me and should last an age Xx
DeleteLooking gorgeous! Love lily Lolo brand great quality & affordable! I only wish they did a redhead option as non of the current colours are suitable for me sadly which is a shame as I use a brow powder every day! Great post as always xx
ReplyDeleteAgree with you they have great products for not too expensive prices, the regular eye shadows may be better for you as they have warmer options shame they don't sell the wax separately Xx
DeleteLooking lovely Ana! I love using brow products as they definitely help to frame your face :) popping this on my wishlist for when I use up my current pencil!
ReplyDeleteThank you, agree it's nice to frame the face Xx
DeleteLooks great! I've never used a brow powder before. Right now, I'm using the Zuzu luxe eyebrown pencil, and it like it a lot so far!
ReplyDeleteLot's of people have good things to say about Zuzu luxe :)
DeleteDefinitely plan to try this out, I always have problems with the darkness/thickness of my eyebrows, maybe this will be my solution! I've recently posted a review of their mineral foundation, I'm loving it so far!

It's easier than using a pencil in my opinion, the foundation is very nice too Xx
DeleteLove it, looks so natural! I actually use a Lily Lolo eyeshadow at the moment for my brows but would love to try out the duo. Having the powder and wax just looks so handy.
ReplyDeleteMayah x
It is handy that they are all together, the wax is my favourite part to be honest Xx
DeleteLooks so nice! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie :) Xx
DeleteLooks like an awesome product!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty fantastic :) Xx
