New in: Tisserand Essential oils

I am big fan of using aromatherapy oils in my home, whether it's for scent, their therapeutic properties or in my beauty routine. I have my diffuser on most days and I love trying different essential oils blends with different brands as I do find this is one area where choosing a good quality, trusted brand pays off. Essential oils can be adulterated and sold as the real thing, so it is important to shop wisely.

Mother's Day gift ideas

With Mother's day fast approaching I thought I would put together a list of some of my favourite products for gifting. I love any occasion to introduce people to new brands, I have had lot's of great feedback from people on some of the more niche brands as gifts and I think it's lovely to give something that isn't so well known, as it makes it that bit more special.

Currently obsessed with: Roses

The title of this blog post is rather deceptive because Rose is not just a current obsession, but an all time one, I adore rose in skincare, body care or perfume. I know rose tends to divide people, there are those that love it, like me and those that find it's really not for them. If your only experience has been with synthetic Rose, these natural treats are a whole world apart and may just convert you!

The art of scent with the Perfume Garden

Scent is an incredibly evocative and personal experience, everyone has perfumes that trigger certain memories. Artisan candles from Almost Edible

I don't think there is anything more lovely than a product truly made with love, which is why I am very pleased to be bringing you a brand that oozes quality and craftsmanship. I have known Kate the founder of Almost Edible through the blog since before she launched her gorgeous website and have seen first hand how much passion goes in to her work. Kate's story is also very similar to mine, she also was a lover of conventional beauty products and approaches until she realised that percentages of beneficial ingredients were often minimal.
