Wonderoos cloth nappy review: Real Easy and V3 Pocket nappy

We have been testing a few nappies from Wonderoos for last six months now, so it's definitely time I weighed in with my thoughts. We absolutely love testing new cloth nappy options and use reusable nappies full time, day and night. Having a longer testing period means I can weigh in on longevity and how well the nappies last, something important when making an investment in reusables.

Family fun: Getting ready for the Just So Festival

In August for the second year in a row we will be packing our camping gear and making our way over to Rode Hall in Cheshire to attend the family arts festival that is the Just So Festival. Just so is the perfect family weekend, there is so much to do for every age group, including the adults! Last years experience was absolutely magical so we are particularly pleased to be able to return again.

Erbaviva Baby review

When it comes to baby products I am without a doubt quite fussy, they have to be amazing quality, made with gentle ingredients and perform brilliantly. I don't incorporate any new products into her routine unless they tick those boxes and I don't try a lot of new products for the sake of it unless the brand is really interesting.

Happy Birthday Baby Green

**I wrote this post last week and promptly left it in my draft folders whilst having a little break away. I haven't done a lot of writing about motherhood or documented much of babies first year, but I wanted to mark the occasion of her being in the world a whole twelve months**

Greener alternatives to baby wipes: Close parent and Cheeky wipes (reusable wipes) review

I have had a few people ask me about baby wipes and what I use for Baby Green, so I thought I would do a post explaining my thoughts on wipes in terms of ingredients and their environmental effects.

TotsBots Easyfit star and Happy Mat Review

It has been almost six months since I first put Baby Green in cloth nappies and it has been without a doubt one of the best parenting decisions I have made. You can read about why I chose reusable over disposable nappies in my first post - Why I use Cloth nappies.

New Launch: A Beautiful Little World

One of my favourite online shopping destinations, A Beautiful World has launched a new section on it's website. Especially for the smallest  (and most special) people in your life; introducing A Beautiful Little World. After becoming a Mum herself, founder Liz McCarthy set about finding safe products for Mum and baby (and Dad's!) that would deliver great results with the luxury feel she was used to.

Mum and Baby: Snüzpod 3 in 1 bedside crib (co-sleeper) review

When it comes to baby products there are so many pointless items sold to us, from plastic baby baths that will only be used for a few weeks to endless gadgets to make parenting life easier that end up collecting dust on a shelf.

Weleda nursing oil review

Last week was world breastfeeding week, a chance to raise awareness and celebrate something that is so important for Mums and babies. This is my second time breastfeeding, sadly my journey with my first came to end before I would have liked due to illness, but this time around Baby Green is still exclusively breastfed at nineteen weeks and I am hoping to continue for as long as she would still like to nurse.

Freida's Feeding Food review

I don't usually review many snacks or food items on the blog, but I thought these were such a sweet and fun idea. For those of you who don't know Baby Green is now almost four months old and is exclusively breastfed from birth.

Green Parenting: Why I use cloth nappies

What kind of nappies to use is just one of the many parenting choices we are faced with, recently cloth nappies are making a bit of a come back as people discover some of the benefits. I used cloth nappies for my first baby seven years ago and this pregnancy I knew I wanted to explore cloth again. As we thought we were only having one child we had passed on all our baby things, so this meant starting again, although it meant more expense financially, I have had a great time exploring some of the styles and nappies available, I think cloth is slightly addictive!

Greener baby: Change bag essentials

Baby Green is almost ten weeks old, I really can't believe it, time flies when you are sleep deprived, I jest (kinda!). As we are out and about a great deal, I thought I would show you some of the green favourites that are in my change bag. A well stocked change bag is essential with babies and children, I dread to think how many nappies I have changed already but it is probably a lot.

Mother and baby: Maternity bag essentials

Packing your Hospital bag is one of those points in pregnancy when things start to feel very real, you feel the excitement and nervous trepidation of knowing that soon you will be welcoming another person in to your family, it's exciting but also a little overwhelming.

Mother and baby: Bravado nursing bra review

It's been six weeks since Baby Green has been born and it has passed by in a big blur, mostly spent feeding my beautiful new baby, because breastfeeding takes hours and hours each day. When preparing my feeding essentials a good nursing bra was top of my list of things to get

Baby Essentials: Early days Breast and Bottle feeding

I thought I would show you some of the products I have been preparing for the arrival of my second baby in just a few weeks time. I am starting off with feeding related products, by this I obviously mean feeding for young babies on a purely milk diet, weaning is a whole different ballgame, one which I thoroughly enjoyed with my son so you can expect a post on that as well.

Pregnancy update: 34 Weeks getting ready for baby

I had planned to write a pregnancy update at 28 weeks so this post is a little overdue, but if I am honest I didn't fancy talking about pregnancy as I was feeling a little down and fed up. My pregnancy had been going along very nicely, no complications at all, although they decided early on they wanted to do extra growth scans in case I had a small baby. This information did make me laugh as in our family all the babies born have been over 8lb including my first.

Wellness: Healthy eating in Pregnancy

Like most pregnant women I suffered from morning sickness in early pregnancy, making it hard to eat a healthy balanced diet. I supplemented with a multi-vitamin and tried to stay hydrated, but in early pregnancy I did loose weight, which isn't uncommon. Now that I am over twenty weeks, the sickness has faded and trying to eat healthily has a whole new set of challenges, with cravings and feeling extra hungry making it easy to overindulge in things my baby and my body simply don't need.
