Holland and Barrett becomes the first retailer to ban microplastics
I have been watching the evolution of natural beauty on the high street for some time and it has become more obvious to me that stores are either wholeheartedly embracing the changes in the consumer tide or lagging behind.

Brand Overview - Pai Skincare the sensitive skin experts

I have a new brand overview for you, this time from one of my all time favourite skincare brands Pai Skincare. I discovered Pai shortly after I started exploring natural and organic beauty brands, before this blog began and it has easily been one of my most repurchased over the years.

Aromatherapy Associates Miniature bath and shower oil collection
When I think of Aromatherapy brands, Aromatherapy Associates is one of the pioneering names that springs to mind. With a great variety of blends and classic packaging.

Weleda Wild Rose creamy body wash and Cream bath
Usually at this time of year I turn to my favourite Weleda scent which is Pomegranate. Pomegranate has a slight warm undertone to the scent, think vanilla and blood oranges, comforting but still fresh and fruity. But lately I have also been reaching for Wild Rose, slightly more delicate, floral but with a gorgeous slightly spicy undertone.

Herbfarmacy Enriching body oil - The perfect Winter skin treat
If you have dry skin and struggle to find body products that are heavy duty enough to tackle it, then this post has something of a hidden gem for you. I have written many times about my love for Herbfarmacy as a brand, their home-grown, organic formulas are perfect for natural beauty lovers and the effectiveness and quality keeps me coming back to them time after time.

Beauty Basics: Trevarno Rose and Jojoba soap
Bar soaps were once thought of as a little old fashioned, but with more people paying attention to packaging waste and looking for gentle options on the skin soap is very much making a comeback.

Tried and tested: Beauty Bust Oil by Laboratoire du Haut-Segala
I usually don't buy in to body treatments that are targeting a specific area, instead choosing multi-purpose nourishing products that can be used wherever needed, but there are some exceptions. After two babies and many months of breastfeeding, I have noticed that my bust and chest area was looking a little more dry than usual and with some fine lines starting to form. Having never tried a product specifically formulated for the bust area, I thought it was certainly worth investigating.

New in: Blue Labelle Divine blend
If you are jetting off on your summer holidays it can be hard to whittle down your skincare collection for travel. If you are anything like me, you will fill up your luggage with products that you never use when you reach your destination! It gets even harder to pack when you only have carry on luggage and so have to restrict the bottle sizes too.

New in: KINN Living
It has been extremely interesting to see so many new brands launch that are certified organic lately, I don't think for a second that the organic beauty movement is going to slow down, in fact I think it will go from strength to strength. KINN is one of those brands that are instantly appealing with it's minimalist aesthetic and clean lines, in a way that also reflects the purity of the ingredients inside. Launching just this spring, KINN is a brand that has captured my attention.

Introducing LA EVA the art of organic beauty
When I first started my green beauty journey, I instantly fell in love with some of the pioneering organic beauty brands, back then though there was still a tendency to see organic as something a bit crunchy. Fast forward to today, you have organic brands making it to the pages of Vogue, organic beauty hitting the high street and making it's way to even the most exclusive celebrity bathrooms. The crunchy image is really no more, in fact when you see brands like LA EVA launching it's hard to think of time when organic wasn't this glamourous.

Five great value natural beauty products to try: Featuring Silvan skincare, Lyonsleaf, Weleda, Alucia Organics and Earth Conscious
One of the reasons people often give for not choosing natural and organic products is that natural products have a higher price point than their conventional counterparts. Whilst generally speaking it is true that natural, wild crafted and organic ingredients all carry a higher price tag than many synthetics, you absolutely don't have to break your budget to enjoy natural beauty and this is a message I am really passionate about. You can have a great natural routine using ethical and cruelty free brands that are affordable without any sacrifice in quality.

New in: Skin Organics beauty box
Skin Organics Clean beauty box is a new beauty box on the scene that launched this month. Beauty subscriptions are a nice way of trying out new products, up until now there have been limited options if you use natural and organic products but recently there has been a real surge in the market.

Natural and Organic certifications to trust: NATRUE
All of this week I have been talking about Organic beauty and what certification means for brands and consumers. At a time when the natural beauty market is expanding more than ever, looking for certifications can help consumers buy with confidence knowing that brands have voluntary signed up to provide a certain quality and standard. I have talked a lot about the Soil Association stamp, especially as they organise Organic Beauty and Wellbeing week, but today I am turning my attention to the NATRUE seal and what it means.

John Masters Hair Care Review
John Masters Organics is a brand that started in the US but that has a strong UK and European presence. It started as a haircare line, as founder John Masters has been working in the hair industry for years, opening his conscious salon in Mahattan in 1994.

Introducing Natural Beauty box: Kissed by the Ocean edition
Up until recently there haven't been too many subscription boxes catering for natural and organic consumers, especially in the UK, but that is changing with new boxes launching; some that have left me less than impressed but others that I think are definitely note worthy. The Natural beauty box is definitely in the latter category, for those of you who love a subscription box, I am working on a bumper post of all the natural and cruelty free friendly boxes available and my thoughts on them; so stay tuned.

New in: AA Skincare shower gel collection
Shower gels are one of the most used products in our house, sometimes we do use a bar soap too but in general we all tend to like the feel of a more traditional wash. When AA Skincare launched this latest collection of shower gels I had a feeling we would be in for a treat and they didn't disappoint.

Party prep beauty - Skincare, body care and makeup
Party season is well underway and I wanted to show some of the star products I have been testing that are perfect for this time of year. A lot of these are new to me products, with a few old favourites thrown in. I have quite limited time to get ready this year as I have Baby Green to keep me busy so I am keeping it simple with speedy products.

New in: Pai Skincare Head to Toe Buriti balm
This new treat from Pai Skincare launched really rather quietly, but I think it is such a versatile product and so beautifully done that I am going to shout about it. This is fast becoming a staple product.
