The cleaner greener manicure
I thought I would share with you some of the products I am currently using to achieve polished looking nails. I have named this the cleaner greener manicure because in truth a truly natural nail varnish does not yet exist, there are plenty of choices available that exclude some of the main nasties that are reported to be in nail varnish, lot's of brands (including some mainstream) now exclude formaldehyde, toluene and phthalates with others also excluding formaldehyde resin and camphor too.

Yarok Feed your youth hair and scalp serum
I am a really big fan of oils for my face and my body but have recently become a big fan of different oils for my hair. I always use coconut oil once a week as a deep treatment, but often during the week my hair and scalp craves some moisture but I don't have time for a heavy oil. That's where this gorgeous Feed your youth hair serum* from Yarok has been an absolute life saver.

La Claree Oliv skincare review
I recently received some sample pots from the French brand La Claree Oliv to try. It's a brand that I haven't tried before but have always been curious about, so I was pleased to have a chance to test these out. The brand uses botanical ingredients many of which are organic to deliver highly effective formulations, it's signature ingredient is olive leaf extract which fights free radical damage to the skin.

Dr Hauschka bronzing palette review
A little while ago I was lucky enough to win a Limited edition and sold out bronzing palette from Dr Hauschka courtesy of the lovely ladies at I am into this I know it is perhaps a bit cruel to write about this beauty when you can't get your hands on it any more, but I have a feeling that the lovely people at Dr Hauschka will release this again next spring (or at least I really hope so!).

Summer Beauty favourite: Alison Claire Lipbalm
Nothing says summertime to me like citrus scents, lime especially brings back happy memories of Margaritas and and lazy days on the beach. This Alison Claire lip balm* really packs a wonderful zesty citrus punch into this small pot of goodness.

Nourish relax hydrating peptide serum
Serums are one part of my facial routine that tend to get forgotten about often, not because I don't think they are important or because I don't enjoy using them but generally because I am so taken with my beloved facial oils that not many other products tend to get a look in. I have sensitive skin which is very reactive and prone to red patches so this product really appealed to me.
