I feel like we all deserve a little pat on the back for surviving January, the bleakest and coldest month of the year. As the snowdrops pop up you can start to feel that change in the air that says spring is on it's way, slowly but on it's way. So it only seems fitting that this stunning hot pink shade of nail polish be released today, it has definitely put an extra spring in my step.
This beautiful colour is called Assam* (£14.45) and is a limited edition collaboration between one of my favourite beauty destinations A Beautiful world and Intensae, makers of on trend five free nail varnishes. Five free in this case means free from Toluene, Formaldahyde, DBP, camphor and Formaldahyde resin which are some of the more questionable ingredients historically found in nail polish, luckily for us brands like Intensae are cleaning up the formulas without any loss of performance or style . I love how vibrant yet wearable this shade is, it is also flattering on all skin tones from light to dark making it a real must have colour. The Intensae formula is long lasting and extremely glossy, you only need one or two coats for the perfect manicure and the formula dries quickly.
I can see this being on my fingers and toes all summer long, a fantastic collaboration and one I would snap up before they sell out!
