I love a good multi-purpose product, they save on packaging and are so useful to have around. My latest addition to what some would call a multi-purpose balm obsession has been the cult product Trilogy everything balm. Trilogy are a natural brand that was founded by two New Zealand sisters in 2002, the brands ethos is based on producing high quality but simple natural formulations. Another of the brands star products the Rosehip oil was the product to start the rosehip trend in the beauty industry and it soon became a favourite with both celebrities and models alike.
I was lucky enough to win this balm in a competition held on Twitter by Trilogy UK, I was delighted because this had been on my wish list for some time. I have tried a few other Trilogy products in the past and everything has always been superb quality, a particular favourite of mine is the rose hand cream. The brand is Natrue certified which is a not for profit organisation which also certifies some other prestigious natural brands such as Weleda.
This balm simply smells divine! It combines my two favourite ingredients Frankincense and Rose and it really is something special, slightly floral and slightly herbal and earthy but wonderful, a very unique fragrance, I would love other products in the same scent, in fact I am slightly obsessed with it.
The balm itself is quite solid on top but when you warm it up it is soft and easy to use, does it do "everything"? Well yes, it is amazing on cuticles and hands, rough knees and elbows and all the usual applications of a balm and I would definitely repurchase if only for the scent let alone the wonderful moisturising properties from the sweet almond oil, Marula oil and evening primrose oil amongst all the other fantastic ingredients.
Ingredients
Sweet almond oil, Beeswax, Marula oil,Evening primrose oil, Certified Organic Rosehip Oil , Wheat germ oil, Calendula officinalis flower extract (and) glycine soja (soybean) oil, Coconut oil, Vitamin E, Jojoba oil, Olive fruit oil, Manuka honey, Parfum, Citral, Geraniol,Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool
You can find Trilogy everything balm here or at Love Lula it seems that this already lovely little pot has had a make over making it even nicer! The new packaging is just too sweet I think this already cult product deserves plenty more hype.
At just £12.50 for 45 ml this is fast becoming one of my favourite beauty staples!
