It has only been a couple of weeks since my last green beauty news post but September has been a fantastic month for launches so let's get right in to it:
Skincare brand Trilogy have launched a perfume called Jua. Meaning Sun in Swahili Jua has notes of Freesia, Bergamot and Rose. Coming in a convenient roller-ball Jua retails for just £13.50 and the brand will be donating 2$ for every bottle sold to So they can, a charity who invests in African communities, you can find out more here.
Pai skincare launch two new targeted serums, I adore Pai not only for it's great natural ingredients but also for the brands commitment to sensitive skin. The Sea Aster and Wild oat serum targets redness and rosacea symptoms as well as sensitivity and the Perfect Balance Blemish serum is perfect for oily and blemish prone skins that also need Pai's characteristic TLC for sensitive skin. Order one of the new serums and get a free Everywhere essentials kit until the 3rd of October, get in quick! The serums retail for £42 each and have Pai's usual high ingredients standards.
Remember a few months ago I was intrigued about the Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7-1 mask, if not you can read about my chat with Antonia here, This mask is claiming not one not two but seven skin benefits all in just 10 minutes, now if I wasn't testing my second Antonia Burrell product which is living up to every single claim I may have been sceptical about this, but I now trust Antonia's line to deliver superior results so I am expecting great things from this mask, to see the results I am talking about see my review of the serum here. The Mask supreme will launch very soon at Antonia Burrell and the Urban Retreat at Harrods.
New brand on the block zk'in launched during organic beauty week in September, described as an honest brand and founder by CEO Grace Culhaci wanted to produce a natural and organic skincare brand women could trust with their skin. The range is Vegan and certified organic by COSMOS. You can shop the range at Love Lula.
British brand Mel Millis a firm favourite of mine has launched the new Phytonutri Qi range, three years in the making creator Tracey Foy mixes a blend of incredible ingredients from marine extracts to pure plant oils and for the first time also the namesake honey (Mel=honey in latin) which is centre stage in the Energising face peel. Also in the range is a gorgeous powder cleanser in form of the Plankton skin remedy, a beautiful pure oil called the enhancing Arctic essence and the Enriching sea plant jelly. I was lucky enough to meet up with the founder Tracey last week and I spent a very enjoyable morning chatting all things skincare and life and I can confirm that as well as being incredibly knowledgeable she is a delight to speak to. I am lucky enough to be testing this beautiful range and I can't wait to bring you my review but for now you can find the products on the Mel Millis website, I dare you not to fall in love!
New from Kirsten Kjaer Weis the fantastic make up artist behind the beautiful refillable make up range are three new colours for this Autumn. Embrace cream blush, Green depth eyes hadow and Lip tint in Lovers choice, the lip tints are some of my favourite high end make up products so I am very excited about this beautiful warm velvety red. These are available for pre-order and I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed they arrive in the UK stockists soon.
Feast your eyes on these beauties from Lily Lolo two new gorgeous palettes which sadly are limited edition. You get eight shades in each palette, the Laidbare pallete is great for those that like a neutral look and the Enchanted palette looks perfect for creating night time looks. These retail at £19.99 and for a mineral oil, paraben free palette that is also Vegan friendly I think that's a bit of a bargain, I can't wait to get my hands on them to see if the pigment and feel lives up to how these look! Find them here.
What's taking your fancy?
