Nothing says summertime to me like citrus scents, lime especially brings back happy memories of Margaritas and and lazy days on the beach. This Alison Claire lip balm* really packs a wonderful zesty citrus punch into this small pot of goodness. Packed with skin loving ingredients that are perfect for hydrating your lips in the summer heat and beyond such as cocoa butter, avocado oil and grapeseed oil, I have been really enjoying using this to keep my lips soft and supple.
Alison Claire is a brand I have tested before but unfortunately did not get on with the scents that I had chosen, so I was delighted when I opened up this pot and inhaled the gorgeous lime fragrance from the essential oils used, as this kind of fresh scent really appeals to me.
All the products are made with natural ingredients, free from the SLS, Parabens, PEG's and phenoxyethanol and with organic ingredients wherever possible. The brand offers a variety of products for the face and body, Alison Claire herself has been a natural healthcare practitioner for over thirty years and continues to research natures alternatives to include them in the ranges.
This balm comes in a sturdy plastic pot which is perfect for travel. I found the consistency initially quite firm but after warming it up with my fingers it softened up after the first few applications and became easy to apply. It leaves a pretty shine on the lips and the lime essential oil feels very refreshing.
Ingredients:
Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed Oil), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower Wax), Oryza Sativa (Rice Bran wax), Persea Gratissima (Avocado Oil), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa Butter), Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime Essential Oil)
At just £2.50 this is a budget friendly product that is well worth a look, you can find the full range here. Have you tried Alison Claire?
