I am a really big fan of oils for my face and my body but have recently become a big fan of different oils for my hair. I always use coconut oil once a week as a deep treatment, but often during the week my hair and scalp craves some moisture but I don't have time for a heavy oil. That's where this gorgeous Feed your youth hair serum* from Yarok has been an absolute life saver.
This professional hair care brand from New York mixes organic ingredients and botanicals to make highly concentrated and effective hair care whilst also being cruelty free and Vegan. I have struggled the most with finding hair care that I enjoy on this journey to using more natural products, so discovering Yarok has been a bit of a revelation.
This serum contains a wonderful blend of avocado oil, apricot oil and wheat germ oil blended with Yarrow, Ylang Ylang and bitter orange with no unnecessary silicones or ingredients that are going to weigh the hair down. One of the active botanicals is Yarrow which is an essential oil that has a remarkable list of benefits including anti-inflammatory properties, promoting hair growth and balancing the scalp.
You take 2-3 pipettes of oil and smooth them over the hair and leave it in for 10-15 minutes before shampooing out. I use three droppers full (sometimes more) because I have quite long hair. I like to wrap my hair in a towel to help the oil to really penetrate the hair. It really is deeply nourishing, I like to use some around the hairline and on the scalp as I suffer from dryness in those areas and it has really improved since adding this oil to my routine.
One of the main benefits is that this is easy to wash out of the hair and doesn't weigh the hair down. When I use it my hair is less frizzy and looks much sleeker as well as feeling softer.
If you want naturally shiny hair and a healthy scalp then this oil is an absolute must have. You can find Yarok products exclusively at A beautiful World which is a gorgeous new on line beauty boutique which offers a great range of brands. This serum costs £22 for a 30 ml bottle.

This sounds awesome! I usually just use organic coconut oil in my hair, but I think I would like to try this out! Thanks for the great post! :-)

DeleteIt sounds amazing Ana, and I like the fact that is easy to wash out and doesn't weigh the hair down ( I have straight hair and they can easily get quiet heavy and flat ).
